Born and raised in South Africa, I’ve always been inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the land—the wild smells of the African bush, the refreshing notes of the ocean breeze, and the calming warmth of a crackling fire. When I moved to the United States, I realized just how much I missed those natural scents, that deep connection to nature.
That’s when YEBO Candles was born.
YEBO means "YES" in Zulu—an affirmation of life, an expression of positivity, and the essence of what we want our candles to bring to you: the warmth, peace, and beauty of nature’s purest smells.
I wanted to create something that would bring a little bit of South Africa into people’s homes and offer them an experience that goes beyond just a candle.
